iOur Self-Directed Spirit: SocialDivas is all about empowerment and initiative. Want to plan an event? Go for it! Simply create and post the details, monitor the RSVPs, confirm the venue, and enjoy the company. Then, do it all over again. We believe in the power of taking charge and making things happen.

Attendance at Events: If you RSVP to attend an event that is ticketed or requires a payment, then you are honour-bound to pay for the ticket. If you have to drop out after the ticket is purchased, you will still be liable for the cost of the ticket, and the onus will be on you to onsell the ticket. It’s kind of like buying a bespoke outfit – once you’ve committed, you’ve got to rock it or pass it on!

WhatsApp: We use WhatsApp as a communication tool and an audit tool. If there is a dispute about a commitment to attend an event, WhatsApp is the last word on attendance. More about Whatsapp here.

Social Divas is about relationships FIRST. Integrity matters to us, and we mean it.

We’re here to build genuine connections, not to burn out our fabulous members or wear anyone down. So, if you’re looking for a place where a faceless customer service person will paper over your crack… you’ve come to the wrong place!

At SocialDivas, we’re not about cliques or creating divisions. Sure, we might have different interests, but that’s what makes us so fabulously diverse! Let’s build each other up, not drag each other down. We’re here to support – so lets be kind.

Remember, a true friendship shines brightest when lifting others up! Let’s keep the kindness and positive vibes going strong!

Membership Activity: With a limited number of members, being proactive in initiating and attending events is crucial to maintaining a vibrant community. Your involvement is key.

SocialDivas is not something to do… unless you get a better offer…

Although everyone has, and acknowledges a genuine emergency or illness,  changing your mind about attending an event with only a few hours’ notice is not in the best interest of the community. When a commitment to attend has been made, other people are looking forward to the meet-up and may well be disappointed if you cancel last minute.

So, let’s respect each other and our respective time and efforts. We all know that, flakiness is best reserved for pastries, not friendships!

New Members: We love the intimacy of our group and have a vested interest in keeping it select.

New Member Admission and Activation comes through a recommendation from an existing member, but doesn’t guarantee automatic admission. More about the Social Divas New Member Admission and Activation Process here.

We will be open to new members joining the WhatsApp group in February 2025.

New Membership Admission and Activation will happen at 3 times during the year – to enable the new members to find their feet and be absorbed into the existing membership.

The membership will be capped at 70 maximum for 2025, and will be reviewed monthly, based soley on our propensity to manage the larger group, without losing the Social Divas culture.
